• Stunning antique MFG Belgique Bell Telephone with rare gilt decorative design.
• I believe this is converted for UK use, the cable seems compatible.
• Featuring black Bakelite base and receiver) with metal main body & rotary dial (quite weighty).
• Rotary motion on dial working lovely, with original bell chime on inner.
• Bakelite base featuring shaped vents and original label on front reading ‘Bell Telephone MFG. COMPANY – ANVERS BELGIQUE’.
• This design is quite a rare one, as it has gilt decorative designs along both sides of the main metal body, with secondary branding reading ‘Belgique Bell Telephone MFG Company’.
• Original fabric cord from receiver to base is quite badly frayed, although inner wires seem in tact – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.
• Measuring approximately 17cm deep, by 16cm wide (across base), and 14cm tall (including receiver on stand).
• CONDITION: This piece is in good condition, some light marks in places, but nothing too notable. Main issue is the frayed cord between receiver and main body, as noted above – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
