• Stunning original antique signed floral painting on milk glass.
• Initialled and dated by artist in lower central area, reading ‘EW 1893’.
• Showing red roses with foliage and buds.
• Unsure of the medium used, it could be oil paint, but I believe it’s acrylic.
• On milk glass backing material. No frame, front mount or backing included.
• Measuring approximately 38cm tall by 31cm wide (outer edge dimensions).
• Piece is in good condition, some very light scratching to paintwork in areas. Verso side has two chips in edges, one on top right edge, one on lower left edge (although these cannot be seen from the front) – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
• A lovely example of an antique glass painting, which would look beautiful in any home or on display.
