• Beautiful antique print circa 1870, taken from ‘Cassells Book of Birds’.
• Text from the publishing can be seen on reverse side of print and below front mount.
• Entitled ‘OCELLATED TURKEY (AFTER DR. BREHM)’ below image.
• Hand coloured, showing surrounding woodland background.
• Mounted using tape to the back of cream bevelled edge thick card mount. Back card sheet.
• No frame included in this sale.
• Mount measuring approximately 27cm tall by 28.5cm wide (outer dimensions). Approximately 14cm tall by 15.25cm wide (inner dimensions).
• Print and mount both in great condition, although there is some age discolouration on the front mount in places, and around outer edges of the print itself (where mount sits) – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
