• Beautiful large original vintage oil painting by notable artist Gerald Hodgson.
• Entitled on verso, ‘RICHMOND CASTLE FROM THE RIVER SWALE, 1978’.
• Signed in lower left hand corner ‘GERALD HODGSON’, please see photos.
• Painted on canvas mounted on thick hardboard back.
• Finished with thick lacquer top coat (please note this has yellowed with age).
• Measuring approximately 51cm tall by 76.5cm wide (outer edge dimensions).
• Painting in great condition, although some light scuffing to lacquer top coat in places. Lightening to outer edges where a frame would have originally sat – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
