• Beautiful large original vintage oil painting showing winter landscape with cottage and mountains into the background.
• Signed in lower right hand corner of painting ‘H. S. NEWTON 75’.
• Painted on textured side of thick hardboard, no frame or front mount.
• Please note that this piece has had a varnish applied as a top layer and this has yellowed with age – Please see photos.
• Measuring approximately 46cm tall by 61cm wide (outer edge dimensions).
• Painting in good condition, with yellowing to top varnish layer as listed above. Also some light scuffing around outer edges where an original frame would have sat – PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.
